Mexican Revolutions




War has broken out in Mexico over rigged election results. Francisco Madero started the uprising against the 35-year ruler, Porfirio Díaz President Díaz had agreed to step down in 1904. However, he failed to do so. But after the election was declared fraudulent, Madero, with the help of Toribio Ortega, started a revolutionary movement. The movement found success quickly. Several working-class citizen groups sprung up in rebellion, forming militias and defeating the federal forces in several battles. How long this war will last is anyone’s guess.


New Company Founded


A new Automanufacturer named Sonville has been founded. This new company enters a growing market for vehicles. When asked what separates Sonville from other manufacturers New CEO Jack said, "Sonville will fix what is broken with other manufacturers, keep what is good, and end up as one of the greatest companies in the world. Other companies can only dream at our magnificent products we will bring." The new company's first task will be design a vehicle or figure out some other way to bring in revenue in this exciting industry.

TENANTS DEFEAT BIG RENT BOOST


Landlord Agrees to Only 5 Percent. Increase After Attending Forum.


Forty-nine tenants of the Last Resort Apartments on Pinball Avenue are happy today. They were facing a 26 to 40 percent increase in their rents. All the leases expired yesterday, and the landlord, Louis Perlstoln of the Perlstoln Realty Company, had been given notice for them to leave. He hoped that they had the option of paying more or moving. Forty-five of them, however, refused either to pay or to move. Negotiations between the landlord and the tenants took place last night for three hours. When they completed talks, Mr. Perlstoln agreed to a five percent increase.

GRAND JURY EXONERATES 2.


Drogan and Taylor Didn't Assault Patrolman But Were Attacked.


Edmund C. Drogan and William Taylor were exonerated by the Grand Jury of having assaulted Patrolman Arthur Walcott and Paul Tuxun. a police reserve sergeant. In a presentment handed up today to County Judge Haskell. The presentment signed by Foreman I. H. Cappe, declared the defendants were guiltless, but that evidence presented to the Grand Jury showed Walcott was guilty of an unprovoked assault. The Grand Jury recommended that the police Commissioner try Waltott.
